The crate is one of the most effective and powerful tools a dog owner can have when it comes to exposing and shifting power within the relationship. The crate represents authority by way of controlling the mind and body of the dog. Issues arise with using the crate when a dog is receiving a mixed message from the owner within the context of authority and empowerment.

When aligned correctly with the psychological path of the owner the crate help shift power regardless of the amount of power any given dog is holding.

Recommendations for using a crate

· Place the crate in an area that will help control your thoughts feelings and emotions and align your psychological path.

· Project assertive energy in and around the crate and immediate area. This can be accomplished by creating follower moments via push and pull / leash flexing near the crate and as you are moving your dog into the crate.

· Move your dog physically into and out of the crate by directing his / her mind. This involves using your fingers to push or pull as it aligns with your mind. Do not use treats or anything that aligns with permissive emotional thinking and empowerment. This type of interaction and psychology is disconnected from nature with the intent of exposing and shifting power. Every interaction is an opportunity to advance this role changing agenda.

· Interrupt your dog's elevated states of mind while your dog is inside the crate by pushing your fingertips against your dog's body. Understand that it is really your mind which is being felt by your dog and influencing meaningful change. As your energy surrounds and invades this area your dog will begin to release power and associate this area within a conditional / follower state.

Use the crate as the fall back position with helping to expose and shift power. Within this context power is your opponent. The power and influence of the psychological should not be underestimated. If an owner is projecting and surrounding their dog with the right psychological energy role change will happen with minimal physical application of method. Physical contact is a waste of your time if your mind is not aligning properly with nature.
